Members of the JFE Steel Corporation East Japan Works toured Tonomachi King Skyfront.
JFE Steel itself has plans to reorganize and redevelop facilities it owns in Minami-wataridacho to make it into a new base. The purpose of this visit was to help them with their town development efforts in Minami-wataridacho, for which they have been taking tours of areas where new research centers, etc., have gathered.
At Keio's seminar room on the 4th-floor of RGBT2, Mr. Suzuki, the administrative director, gave a presentation outlining Tonomachi Town Campus and the JST Research Complex Program. The visitors listened attentively, and although their time was limited, they asked questions that deepened their understanding of the campus.
From the West Terrace, the group enjoyed the view of Tama River as well as the site where the new RGBT3 building will be constructed and Tonomachi Zone A, which will be developed even more in the future.
