The King SKYFRONT Summer Science Event 2019 was held on Thursday, August 1 from 13:00-16:00.
Corporations and research institutes from King SKYFRONT were among those showcasing their unique characteristics while hosting booths and activities including craft classes and interactive experiments.
At the campus, many children took the time to visit and enjoy with their parents the three booths on offer, "Understanding Programming by Game Design," a reservation-only activity on creating games which are useful to society, and "The Junior Doctor Marshmallow Tower Experience!" and "Let's Make Our Own Rods and Catch Fish!" activities with same-day participation available. In addition, junior high school students participating in the advanced course of the "JST Junior Doctor Cram School" gave their interim presentations. Many local children took part and interacted with our staff who had a fulfilling half-day of activities. Around 2,500 people participated, a similar number to the overall attendance last year.
